Peter Maclaine Estate Agents was set up almost 10 years ago by Peter Maclaine, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, who has lived and worked in the Pewsey Vale for 25 years. Having previously worked for several national estate agencies locally he believed there was the need for an independent firm that could provide honest professional advice using his knowledge and experience in an attractive and sought after area of rural Wiltshire.

Within the delightful undulating countryside are numerous traditional English villages with a cross section of varying properties both large and small. The large village of Pewsey lies in the centre of the Vale with a main line railway station to London (Paddington) and the nearby Kennet and Avon Canal. The Pewsey Vale is conveniently placed for ready access to the large employment areas of Swindon, Reading, Salisbury, Bath and Bristol. The nearby historic town of Marlborough is renowned for its wide High Street and good schools, whilst to the west is the thriving commercial market town of Devizes with its well known Wadworths Brewery.
